Cyclones Advance, Jays Out

Iowa State is moving on to the Sweet Sixteen while Creighton has been sidelined.

The Cyclones nosed out North Carolina 85-83 Sunday as DeAndre Kane got a game winning basket with less than two seconds remaining. They will face Connecticut on Friday in the round of 16.

The Bluejays fell to Baylor 85-55 as All American Doug McDermott was held to 15 points, a dozen below his average. Creighton finished with a 27-8 record.
