Cyclone Cager Will Transfer

Iowa State redshirt sophomore Sherron Dorsey-Walker says he’s leaving the program.

Coach Fred Hoiberg announced Tuesday that Dorsey-Walker, a seldom-used reserve guard, intends to transfer to another school.

Dorsey-Walker averaged three points in limited action this season. Dorsey-Walker hadn’t played in four straight games, and the impending arrival of former Oregon State guard Hallice Cooke looked to cut his playing time in 2015-16.

Dorsey-Walker’s departure could free up another scholarship for Hoiberg to hand out next spring.
