Andrew Streff, a farmer from Salem, SD, and commodity broker at Farmers Trading Company, shares a look at crop conditions in his area.
“Crops are looking good… they started off a bit slow… the corn was nothing special when it was first coming out of the ground,” Streff said. “But now that we’ve got some good moisture and some good heat on the crops they look like they’re off to the races.”
Streff said he’s even impressed by the condition of their no-till beans after recent rainfall.
