Crop Acreage Reporting Deadline At FSA Offices Is Wednesday

The spring crop acreage reporting deadline is this Wednesday with the USDA Farm Service Agency. Some offices are taking appointments on line only for reporting while others have returned to in person service. Bobbie Kriz Wickham with the Nebraska State FSA Office says it’s best to check with your local county office to see how they’re taking the reports, whether it be on-line or in-person.

She says to remain eligible for most FSA programs, producers must have these acreage reports filed by the deadline.

Wickham says most Nebraska producers have done a good job filing their acreage reports and so far the system has run smoothly.

Wickham says producers can check on-line to see what status their county office is using whether it be in person or on line. Just go to farmers.gov/coronavirus/service-center-status.
