An accident just before noon Thursday at the intersection of Highway 81 and Nebraska 121 just south of Yankton killed a Crofton man.
The Cedar County Sheriffs office says 28 year old Kyle Mueller (m-you-ler) was southbound and turned east into the path of a northbound semi.
28 year old Scott Howard of Norfolk was driving the semi and was not injured.
Mueller was not wearing a seatbelt and was pronounced dead at the scene.
Cedar and Yankton County emergency services responded to the crash.
