Creighton, Iowa Gain In Poll

A big upset win Sunday by Creighton has moved the Jays up seven notches in this week’s Associated Press men’s basketball poll. Iowa also gained position in the new ratings while Iowa State fell back.

Creighton, who knocked off sixth rated Villanova Sunday, gains the eleventh spot in the poll after being #18 last week.

Iowa moves up one position to 15th in the country while Iowa State dropped six slots to #17.

Syracuse remains the top rated squad and one of only two unbeaten teams. The other, Wichita State, is up one notch to third. Florida is second.
