Senior Trey Burch-Manning tallied a double-double and four Coyotes scored in double figures as South Dakota men’s basketball defeated Dakota Wesleyan 77-61 in exhibition action Tuesday night.

The contest was the first chance for Coyote fans to see first-year head coach Todd Lee in action in the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.

A hallmark of Lee’s system is a strong defense and the Coyotes held DWU to just 30.9 percent shooting from the field and 25.7 percent from long-range.
