The South Dakota men’s basketball team held off Northern Arizona for a 90-77 victory Thursday night in Flagstaff, Arizona.

Matt Mooney tallied 22 of his team-high 24 points in the second half while Tyler Hagedorn added 20 points. Nick Fuller scored a career-high 17 points.

The Coyotes won their third-straight game and improve to 10-3 on the season as the Lumberjacks fall to 2-9.

South Dakota entered intermission with a 38-23 lead and opened a 19-point lead with 12:45 remaining in regulation at 60-41 on a Carlton Hurst free throw.
