South Dakota men’s basketball head coach Craig Smith has announced that the Coyotes will host Loras College in an exhibition match ahead of the 2016-17 season at 7 p.m. Nov. 4 in the Sanford Coyote Sports Center.

Admission to the game is free with a suggested donation of a new or gently used toy, or a $5 cash donation. Toys will be donated to underprivileged youth in the Vermillion community during the upcoming holiday season.

The game will also serve as the first opportunity for season ticket holders to pick up their tickets and enjoy the game from their seats. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be available for CorTrust Club members.

Parking for the game will function identical to the basketball regular season. Lots A, C and D require a VIP parking pass while Lot B is open to the general public.

The Coyotes begin the regular season Nov. 11 at Drake in Des Moines, Iowa, ahead of the Sports Center grand opening doubleheader on Nov. 13. The USD men face Bowling Green at 3:15 p.m.
