South Dakota women’s basketball head coach Dawn Plitzuweit has announced the promotion of Jason Jeschke to associate head coach of the Coyotes.

Jeschke joined the Coyotes last season after three years as the head coach of Oklahoma Wesleyan. In his first season at USD, the Coyotes compiled a 29-7 record, swept the Summit League regular season and advanced to the Women’s National Invitation Tournament quarterfinals.

Jeschke’s duties at South Dakota include providing detailed opponent scouting reports, player development, scheduling, in-game coaching, practice planning and execution, recruiting, camps and clinics.
