The University of South Dakota goes after its first conference win of the season when it hosts Western Illinois Saturday afternoon.

The Coyotes are 2-7 overall and 0-5 in Missouri Valley Football Conference play. The visiting Leathernecks are 3-6 on the season and 1-4 in league action.

USD won’t have to leave South Dakota the rest of the season with two home games and a visit to South Dakota State left on the schedule.
