South Dakota alum Brett Bennett has been named the Coyotes’ head women’s golf coach USD Athletic Director David Herbster announced Thursday.

Bennett has spent the past five seasons at the University of Sioux Falls leading the men’s golf team along with being the head coach of both the men’s and women’s programs from 2013-16.

He led the Cougars men’s team to a runner-up finish in the Northern Sun Intercollegiate Conference in 2014, had a women’s regional qualifier in 2014 and 2015, and a women’s national championship qualifier in 2015.
