The University of South Dakota opens MVFC play by facing a league team they will meet for the first time since joining the conference in 2012.
Southern Illinois will host the Coyotes in a 6 p.m. game Saturday. USD is 2-2 on the season while the Salukis are 4-1, including a league win over Western Illinois.
USD is coming off an open date last week after scoring an upset win over nationally ranked Northern Arizona.
