Trey Dickerson scored a season-high 21 points while Matt Mooney and Tyler Flack added 16 apiece as South Dakota topped Western Illinois 92-81 Thursday inside Western Hall. 

The Coyotes (20-10, 11-4 Summit), winners of five in a row, reached 20 wins for the first time since the 2009-10 campaign. They also tied North Dakota State for first place in the Summit League standings with one game to go. South Dakota takes on IUPUI Saturday in Indianapolis while the Bison travel to Omaha to face the Mavericks. 

South Dakota swept the season series with Western Illinois (8-18, 5-10) for the second time in three seasons and has won six of the last seven meetings in the series.
