Denver’s final round was its best of the 2019 Summit League Men’s Golf Championship and that effort cemented the first title for the Pioneers since their inaugural year as a league member in 2014.
The Pioneers navigated their way through a grueling final day as forecasted storms on Tuesday forced teams to play 36 holes on Monday.
South Dakota (889; +25) and South Dakota State (889; +25) shared runner-up honors. The Coyotes climbed two spots with a 296-295 finish, while the Jackrabbits closed with a 301 and a 298.
