The Summit League tournament champion South Dakota Coyotes will face Creighton in the opening round of the NCAA volleyball tournament at 6 p.m. on Friday, November 30.
The first match on Friday at D.J. Sokol Arena is between Washington and Saint Mary’s (Calif.) at 3:30 p.m.
South Dakota, who defeated Denver in a five-set tournament championship thriller, is in the NCAA Tournament for the first time in the school’s Division I history.
Denver received an at-large berth, giving the Summit League two teams into the NCAA Tournament in volleyball for the first time ever.
Minnesota, the #2 seed, and Nebraska, the #7 seed, will also host opening round action starting this weekend.
