South Dakota men’s basketball coach Todd Lee has announced that Cody Kelley, who previously spent three seasons with the Wyoming basketball team, will join the Coyotes as a graduate transfer beginning with the 2018-19 season.

Kelley, a 5-foot-11 guard, has two seasons of eligibility after redshirting his first year at Wyoming and graduating with his degree in kinesiology and health in three years.

Kelley is a veteran of 67 games at Wyoming, making 24 starts over two seasons. In his sophomore campaign, he made 23 starts averaging 5.2 points, 2.9 assists and 2.4 rebounds per game while the Pokes tallied a 20-13 record.

In his redshirt-freshman season, Kelley was a key spark off the bench helping Wyoming capture the 2017 CBI Championship. He played in 34 games, making one start, averaging 3.4 points per contest.
