A pair of University of South Dakota athletes have earned weekly honors from the Summit League.

Senior middle blocker Taylor Wilson has been named the Summit League volleyball offensive player of the week.

Wilson, a native of Corydon, Indiana, had a pair of strong matches as the Coyotes registered two sweeps in league play to bring their current win streak to five, all by sweeps.

Senior Parker Rytz has been named the Summit League soccer Defensive Player of the Week. It is the second time this year she has earned the honor.

Rytz, hailing from Encinitas, California, totaled 16 saves over the Coyotes’ final two games of the season including five stops in her shutout of North Dakota. The shutout was her sixth of the season, tying a program record for most shutouts in a single season.
