South Dakota senior Greysen Hertting was named the 2017 Summit League Women’s Diver of the Year as announced by the league office Wednesday.  

Hailing from Appleton, Wis., Hertting earns the award for the fourth consecutive year. She is only the third student-athlete in the Summit League to win a yearly award four times. At the Summit League Championships, Hertting was the runner-up on the three-meter dive (279.95) and placed fourth on the one-meter dive (236.90). Hertting advanced to the NCAA Zone Diving Championships. She scored 274.70 in the one-meter prelim round and advanced to the finals. She finished in 17th-place (out of 44) with a combined score of 529.40. She also placed 33rd (out of 42) on the three-meter with a score of 249.90.  

On the season, Hertting won 16 event titles and collected seven Diver of the Week awards. She extended her league record and has won the award 32 times.   

South Dakota senior Brenna Lervick was named the Summit League’s Female Golfer of the Week as announced by the league office Wednesday. 

A native of Chanhassen, Minn., Lervick earns the award for the first time this season and fourth time in her career. At the Bradley Invitational April 1-2, Lervick tied for second out of 63 golfers as she led the Coyotes to a fourth-place finish out of 11 teams. Lervick finished at even-par (216) as she shot one-under par 71 in the first round, 72 in the second and 73 in the third. In the third round, she putted in two birdies on the final four holes as she moved up the leaderboard and tied for second. Her 54-hole score of 216 tied for her lowest score of the season. Lervick ranks second in the Summit for stroke average at 73.4.
