Coyotes Earn Rivalry Triumph

 South Dakota senior outside hitter Audrey Reeg and junior setter Brittany Jessen each record double-doubles as the Coyotes swept in-state rival South Dakota State 25-19, 25-19, 25-15 Sunday afternoon in volleyball at Frost Arena.

The match served as the first event in the South Dakota Showdown Series and gave the Coyotes one point for the win.  

USD is on a four-game winning streak and is 15-2 on season. The Coyotes are one of two undefeated teams in the Summit League and have a record of 4-0. They have swept every Summit opponent. South Dakota has matched its 15 wins from last season and still has 13 games left in the regular season.  

With the loss, South Dakota State is 2-13 and 1-3 in conference play.
