South Dakota sophomore swimmer Sabrina Sabadeanu and junior diver Sarah Schank have been named the Summit League Women’s Swimmer and Diver of the Week, respectively, as released by the conference office Tuesday.

This is the first such honor for both athletes.

Sabadeanu placed first in all three of her individual events at Minnesota State Mankato Friday. Sabadeanu won her first event of the night, the 100-yard backstroke, with a time of 58.58. She took the 200-yard backstroke with a time of 2:05.61 and the 200-yard individual medley with a 2:10.12.

Schank swept both dives against the Mavericks. Schank won the one-meter with a score of 248.00 and then went on to win the three-meter dive with a score of 265.85.
