South Dakota thrower Danielle Waldner placed ninth in the women’s shot put at the U.S. Junior Outdoor Track and Field Championships held this past weekend at Historic Hayward Field.

 

Waldner recorded a mark of 46 feet, 0 inches during Saturday’s competition. Ravan Saunders (unattached) won the event with a mark of 55-10¼.

 

The meet concluded the Coyotes’ 2014 outdoor season.
