While several Covid-19 vaccines are being used around the world, research is continuing on those and other treatments.

Dr Brandon Essink is with Meridian Clinical Research in Omaha and says their vaccine work is still very new….

Essink says the research now is focused on getting ahead of the Covid variants..

Essink says the Covid vaccines are an entirely new type….

Essink says those type of vaccines could be expanded against other chronic illnesses. He says they are still looking for clinical trial participants for their ongoing studies in Omaha, Norfolk and Sioux City.
