At least six South Dakota lawmakers have now tested positive for Covid-19 in the past week. The Senate has mandated face masks on their side while the House has not.
House Minority Leader Jamie Smith of Sioux Falls says he gave a letter to House Speaker Spencer Gosch asking that the House also mandate masks..

Smith says they want to be able to stay in session..

Smith says legislative leaders should do the right thing….

Legislators are on a four-day weekend and will return to session on Tuesday.
