Active Covid-19 infection cases have been trending down for the last several weeks in South Dakota.

State Epidemiologist Dr Josh Clayton says there is still a gap between reported cases and the total number of infected people…

Clayton says it appears people are taking more precautions against the virus…

The number of people hospitalized due to Covid-19 has fallen under three hundred. Fourteen hundred forty six people have died from the infection since the pandemic started.
