COVID-19 Cases Rising at the University of South Dakota

The number of active COVID-19 infections being reported among students and employees at the University of South Dakota rose from fifty-one on Monday to one hundred thirty-three on Thursday.
USD President Sheila Gestring says those numbers alone won’t determine if they make changes in their learning environment….

Gestring says they have adequate capacity now to care for their infected students and staff….

Gestring says they will have a lot of input on any decisions that are needed….

In person classes are continuing at USD and face masks are required for everyone on campus.
