The CDC and FDA have set the stage for Covid-19 booster shots.
Those that received the Pfizer shots and qualify due to age and other requirements will be able to get the shots.

Liz Healy, infection coordination specialist at Avera Sacred Heart Hospital in Yankton, says they aren’t planning to hold their own shot clinics for the boosters….

Healy says they want to make sure there is enough vaccine for those getting their first round of shots….

Healy says if you lost your shot card, there are backup resources….

The boosters will first be available for those over 65 and people with underlying medical conditions.
