A legal challenge to Amendment “C” will continue despite a judges ruling last week.

A Circuit Court Judge ruled that mailing the notice of the lawsuit to the Attorney General was not sufficient, that it had to be hand delivered.

Dave Owen of Sioux Falls is one of the plaintiffs in the case….

Owen, who is President of the state Chamber of Commerce and Industry, is taking part in the case as a private citizen.

Owen says the issue of legal service will also be in court…

Owen says the court ruling on the core issue could have an impact after the election….

Amendment “C”, on the June primary ballot, would require any ballot issue that spends more than ten million dollars to pass with a sixty percent majority.
