Couple Avoids Injury as Home is Destroyed in Springfield Storm

Four homes were destroyed and dozen damaged by strong straight line winds that hit Springfield early Monday morning.
One of the homes that was destroyed belonged to Michala Christenson and Madison Holland. Michala’s mother, Melinda Larson says breaking glass woke them up……

Larson says they managed to scramble to the lower level…..

Larson says their entire home, which they bought in March, was badly damaged…

Larson says the couple had insurance on the home, and would probably rebuild on that location.
