The Nebraska Association of County Officials will hold their annual legislative conference tomorrow in Kearney.

NACO Executive Director Larry Dix says one issue they want to talk about is the transition to a new 911 emergency call system…

 

The NextGen system will track and locate calls and texts from cell phones.

Dix says there are additional costs to replace existing systems and services…

 

Dix says they will also talk about unfunded mandates and highway funding.
