The Corps of Engineers held meetings along the Missouri River this week to provide updates on expected runoff and summer operations.

At a meeting in Bismarck North Dakota this week, Ryan Larsen with the Corps office in Omaha, had an update on predicted runoff….

Larsen says snowpack in the upper reaches contains a lot of S-WE, or snow water equivalent….

Larsen says they expect runoff to be in the normal range for most of the year….

Meetings scheduled this week in Pierre and Lower Brule were cancelled due to the snowstorm.
