Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook will miss the remainder of his rookie season.

He has a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee. Coach Mike Zimmer confirms the diagnosis after Cook was hurt trying to cut for more yards in a loss to Detroit the day before.

Cook is third in the NFL with 354 yards rushing. Latavius Murray will take over as the lead running back for the Vikings (2-2).
