Delegates to the South Dakota republican convention will have to choose a candidate for Secretary of State. Current Deputy Secretary of State Pat Miller of Pierre, and Senator Shantel Krebs of Renner are both running for the spot. Current Secretary of State Jason Gant decided not to run for re-election.
