South Dakota Congresswoman and Governor-elect Kristi Noem is wrapping up her work in Washington before becoming the states first female Governor early next month.
The threat of a federal government shutdown is looming this week, mostly over disagreement on funding a border wall with Mexico.
Noem says there are some critical parts of the government that could be effected by the shutdown….

Noem says she supports the President on the need for the wall….

Noem says she thinks there is public support for funding the wall..

The fight is over five billion dollars extra spending to fund construction of the wall, which the President has said will cost twenty-five billion dollars.
