Iowa’s 4th District Congressman, Randy Feenstra wants the Biden Administration to fill a couple of vacancies that he says are important to agriculture.  Feenstra had 32 of his Congressional colleagues co-sign a letter addressed to U-S Trade Representative Katherine Tai, requesting an agriculture trade negotiator, and an Under Secretary of Trade and Foreign Ag Affairs.

Feenstra says he is concerned about what is happening in Mexico with biotechnology seed trade.  USDA Secretary Tom Vilsack was in Mexico last week, but Feenstra says nothing has yet happened.

Feenstra says until the two agricultural trade positions are filled, he fears the U-S is missing out on trade opportunities.
