Congress Passes Plan to Keep the Government Open Until December

President Trump signed an eight hundred fifty billion dollar spending plan on Friday, which will keep the federal government operating through early December.

He has earlier said he supported a government shutdown in an effort to force financing for the Mexican border wall.

The plan includes almost seven hundred billion dollars in defense spending, plus money for Health and Human Services, Education and the Labor department.
