Congress Battling Over MFP Funding

The battle over a continuing resolution funding the federal government may come at the expense of MFP payments to farmers.

Some House democrats were pushing back on an effort to add more funding to the Commodity Credit Corporation to cover those payments, which now total about twenty-eight billion dollars.
