Senators and Representatives will be back in Washington this week to begin the 2018 session of Congress.
The tax cut bill was the major accomplishment of the last Congress, and was signed by the President just before Christmas.
South Dakota Congresswoman Kristi Noem says her priority will be the next farm bill…….

Noem says they will also be looking at cuts in federal spending……

House Speaker Paul Ryan has said they will have to take a look at spending on Social Security and Medicare in the new year. Noem isn’t so sure……

Members of Congress will also have to deal again with a continuing resolution to fund government later in January.
