There are now 75 confirmed cases of measles in Minnesota–that’s five more than the total number of cases in the U-S last year. Most of the cases are in unvaccinated Somali Minnesotans. The state health department’s Kris Ehresman says outreach to the community has been stepped up and there is progress being made
Ehresman says they’re also stressing the importance of staying home if you’re sick to help prevent the spread of measles.
