Confidence in Nebraska Economy Remains Strong

Confidence in Nebraska’s economy remains strong, though it has sagged a bit.

The University of Nebraska Bureau of Business Research reports confidence in the state economy dropped slightly in its latest survey.

Director Eric Thompson says the drop could be somewhat expected. . .

Thompson says the exuberant confidence expressed during the first half of the year has come “down to earth”. . .

More than half of the poll respondents said they worry about the cost of living, especially health care costs and taxes.
