For the first time in program history, the Concordia(Ne) Bulldogs have captured the 2019 NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championship, defeating the Southeastern Fire 67-59 on Tuesday.
To keep the red banner in GPAC territory, it took a double-double from Philly Lammers (11 points, 12 rebounds), a team-leading 15 points from Grace Barry, 13 points by Taylor Cockerill, and 11 points from Quinn Wragge.
Concordia finishes the season with an overall record of 35-3.
