Concordia sits atop the Great Plains Athletic Conference after sweeping the men’s and women’s post season tournament titles Tuesday night.

The fourth seed Concordia men picked up a 68-66 win over two seed Dakota Wesleyan at the Corn Palace in Mitchell.

Concordia, as the GPAC Postseason Tournament Champion garners an automatic berth to the NAIA National Basketball Tournament. The NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball National Championship is set for March 11-17, 2020, in Sioux Falls at the Pentagon.

In the title game of the women’s tournament, top seed and second-ranked Concordia defeated fourth-ranked Hastings 60-49.

Both teams garner an automatic berth to the NAIA National Basketball Tournament (Hastings because the runner-up gains the berth since regular season champion (top seed Concordia) wins the postseason).

The NAIA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championship is set for March 11-17, 2020, in Sioux City, Iowa, at the Tyson Events Center.
