Concordia(Ne) will carry the hopes of the Great Plains Athletic Conference in the NAIA national women’s basketball tournament title game Tuesday.

It came down to the wire, but the Concordia Bulldog defense made the difference in their 82-79 semifinal victory over fellow GPAC member Northwestern in Sioux City on Monday.

Defending national champ Dakota Wesleyan failed to make it an all GPAC final when they lost to Southeastern of Florida 78-75 in double overtime.

The men’s NAIA final in Sioux Falls will match Oregon Tech with Spring Arbor of Michigan tonight.
