Concerns about proposed cuts to the federal Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program are top of mind for Minnesota Senator Tina Smith. She is not happy with the House version of the bill that proposes additional requirements on those receiving so called SNAP benefits.

 

Smith says a lot of the people receiving these benefits are working family’s with children.
