Common Sense Releases WOTUS Analysis

Tuesday, Common Sense, Nebraska, the Coalition fighting EPA’s proposed Waters of the U.S. rule unveiled their analysis of how the rule would negatively impact agriculture. The analysis was authored by former Nebraska of Environmental Quality Director Mike Linder. He says WOTUS should be withdrawn and fix the part of the Clean Water Act that deals with wetlands.
Linder says the part of the Clean Water Act, section 404 that deals with permits doesn’t need any fixing at all.
Linder says Livestock producers in Nebraska would be the most negatively affected by EPA’s expanded definition of waters in their proposed rule.
