Comments Invited on Grazing Rule

Ranchers who graze on public lands have until mid-March to submit comments to the Bureau of Land Management on new grazing regulations. Public Lands Council’s Associate Director and Lobbyist Tanner Beymer says this is a great opportunity for livestock producers to call for more reasonable rules as they relate to grazing management.

He says proper grazing helps reduce wildfires.

Beymer says federal lands benefit from grazing management that ranchers provide at little to no cost to the government.

Comments can be made by going to NCBA’s website until mid-March.
