The final three teams earned a trip to the College World Series with Super Regional baseball wins Monday.
TCU, Mississippi and Virginia joined the eight team field for this weekend’s first round of action in Omaha. TCU edged Pepperdine 6-5. Mississippi outscored Louisiana-Lafayette 10-4. Virginia pounded Maryland 11-2.
The Monday winners join UC Irvine, Louisville, Vanderbilt, Texas and Texas Tech for the double elimination tournament starting Saturday at TD Ameritrade Park in Omaha.
