Coleridge Man Dies in Grain Bin Accident

The Cedar County Sheriffs Office says a Coleridge man died in a grain bin accident Tuesday afternoon. 60 year old Kelly Burbach was trapped in a grain bin five miles east and one mile south of Hartington. Burbach was an employee of Hansen Farms of Coleridge. The call came in just before 3PM. Burbach was extricated from the bin and pronounced dead at the scene. Agencies responding included the Central Valley Ag Emergency Rescue Team, Hartington Fire & EMS, Coleridge Fire & EMS, Lifenet and the Cedar County Sheriffs Office.
