The prediction of a colder and snowy winter looks to be holding.

During the monthly north central region outlook update, Missouri State Climatologist Pat Guinan says temperatures in December will be above normal in most of the US…

Guinan says the wetter pattern is also hanging tight….

Guinan says the temperature trend in January, February and March also looks to be cooler…

And most of the northern states are also in the above normal range for precipitation….

Those trends raise the concern level for another round of flooding next spring.
