A proposed carbon dioxide pipeline application continues after South Dakota regulators declined to approve a request to end the project. Nebraska Attorney Brian Jorde is representing several intervenors who are opposed to Summit Carbon Solution’s plan to pipe C-O-Two from ethanol plants in three states to North Dakota for storage. Jorde says Summit’s application is incomplete…

Public Utilities Commission Chair Chris Nelson says while the application has issues, they aren’t severe enough to be thrown out…

With the approval to indefinitely extend the application deadline, Jorde withdrew a motion extend the deadline for additional intervenors to be added to the docket depending on the pipeline’s routing.
